When they started, the only thing Cloud 9 had was a name and a gluten-free flour recipe. So taking it from idea to now, we had to develop a brand and marketing strategy, design a store, and create a market presence - in other words - we had to do it all. It didn't take long for the gluten-free community to embrace the brand and products. In terms of business success, the results were equally encouraging. Everyone from local caf├ęs to retail outlets were asking for products. But if you need concrete evidence of what a great product and effective branding can do - Cloud 9 went from idea to being carried in Costco in under a year.
